godzilla 2014

Godzilla 2014 was a decent modern Hollywood’s take on the Godzilla franchise. Haven’t seen it yet? Well check it out. Definitely worth seeing since Godzilla seems to be making a comeback. Shin Godzilla was really good as well. And the new Godzilla Anime from Netflix looks pretty good too.

Anyway check out these trailers. The first scene looks good but it’s really heavy and dark. What’s with all the heavy realism nowadays? What happened to the good ol’ fun days? Oh well looks like Godzilla will go the way of Spider-man, Batman and Superman – serious and dark and real!  Anyway, it has promise. But really, what’s with the 2001 Space Odyssey music at the beginning of the teaser? That was downright creepy! They are trying to scare the bejesus out of us but they will fail! AND that general dude at the beginning sounds soooo pathetic! Oh my god! And I know this is an America remake but they had better not have Godzilla attack anywhere but Tokyo. If they do, there will be hell to pay! What – they don’t think American’s will watch if he attacks Tokyo!

Ok, enough ranting:
