Welcome to the first installment of Movie What’s “Trailer Tuesdays” where we spotlight trailers for cool and interesting up-and-coming films. For our first installment, we introduce “Hidden Figures”, a science-based movie about a team of African American rocket scientist who played a pivotal role in the early space program.  Check it out!

Hidden Figures is an upcoming 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi from a screenplay co-written with Allison Schroeder, based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly. The film stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, the African American physicist, space scientist, and mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and the 1969 Apollo 11 flight to the Moon. The film also features Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, and Jim Parsons.  Principal photography began in early March 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. The film will be released on December 25, 2016, by Fox 2000 Pictures.” ~ Wikipedia.
