New Studio Ghibli Movie: From Up on Poppy Hill Trailer 2013

Studio Ghibli is about to release their latest film in American theaters this spring.  Looks like it’s done by his Miyazaki’s son, Goro Miyazaki.  Animation looks so so but I am sure it will be good as all Studio Ghibli films are.

Spirited Away‘s Hayao Miyazaki wrote the screenplay for the film, with his son Goro taking up the director’s chair.

From Up On Poppy Hill is set in Yokohama in 1963, and follows two school children’s efforts to save a historic building from demolition. It was the highest-grossing Japanese movie of 2011, raking in $56 million.
